Sling Wing was started in 1998 when I saw Steve Corbin flying the Sling Wing.

I mentioned to Steve I bet I could sell a million of those. At that point I was hung by the tongue. We built a long-lasting friendship and made agreements that Sling Wing the company would market and sell the Sling Wing all over the world.

Steve had been searching for backers and looking for ways to put the Sling Wings in people's hands since it was patented. He had some success but he was still searching for the right fit.

Sling Wing is a small company with the goal of producing great flying products. When we look at the flying toy market we see lots of so, so products and some that look great, but just don't fly. We didn't want to be one of those companies with slick packaging that sells an inferior product. We strive to produce products that really set us apart from our competitors. That means we want flying items that launch higher, fly longer, and exceed the customer's expectations.

We strive to produce all of our products on U.S. soil. Currently two of the three products are done exclusively on U.S. soil. Our other product receives some components from abroad, but the wings and final assembly are done here.

We do all we can here for two reasons:

1. We love U.S.A. and think manufacturing here is the responsible thing to do.
   It is too easy to love your country then turn a blind eye and produce overseas just to save money.
   
2. We like the control we have making it here in the U.S. If we need to make an adjustment we do it now, not after 100,000 parts have been made.

Our manufacturing plant is in San Bernardino, Ca 92408. We have some very unique machines that make the foam components to all three of our main product lines.

Our sales office is up in the Mountains of Lake Arrowhead, CA.
